Priviot limitations

Priviot's local OCR is not yet at the level of mature providers. A Linux version is planned but has not been released yet; there is no web editor. Its ecosystem is smaller.

Only Foxit PDF Reader is permanently free. The full editor is offered as a subscription or a perpetual Windows/macOS license; mobile apps, eSign, and Smart Redact require PDF Editor+.
